Events - Run Alton Towers 2026

Volunteer with us at  Alton Towers Resort on 14th & 15th November 2026

At Acorns we provide care and support for life limited or life threatened children and their families. We are a charity, and our fundraising is vital to enable us to continue providing care and support to the children: it costs around £13 million a year to run our care services.

What's involved?

• As a Cheer Squad you will be cheering our runners on as they fly round the course

How much time will it take? 

You can come and volunteer between the hours of 9am and 1pm or join us for the the duration of the event

Am I right for the role?

We’re looking for volunteers who are

• Approachable and happy to raise awareness about Acorns
• Versatile and willing to adapt and help out
• Support and cheer runners along
