Volunteer with us at Wythall & Hollywood Fun Run 7th June 2026

At Acorns we provide care and support for life limited or life threatened children and their families. We are a charity, and our fundraising is vital to enable us to continue providing care and support to the children: it costs around £13 million a year to run our care services.

Acorns is the Official Charity Partner for Wythall & Hollywood & Fun Run. Runners can take part in a 5k, 10k & Families on Track event.

What's involved?

• You as volunteers will be supporting at the Acorns stand and engaging with our runners and members of the public
• As a Cheer Squad you will be cheering our runners on as they fly round the course
• Water station - handing out and topping up water for the participants
• Finish Line - support with handing out medals and goody bags
• Mascot – Alex the Acorn

How much time will it take? 

Any time that you can support between 8am to 3pm

We’re looking for volunteers who are

• Approachable and happy to raise awareness about Acorns
• Versatile and willing to adapt and help out
• Support and cheer runners along
