Events - Run Solihull

Volunteer with us at  Malvern Park Solihull 9th August 2026

At Acorns we provide care and support for life limited or life threatened children and their families. We are a charity, and our fundraising is vital to enable us to continue providing care and support to the children: it costs around £13 million a year to run our care services.

Acorns is the official charity partner for Run Solihull. Runners can take part in a 10k, half marathon or kids races.

What's involved?

• You as volunteers will be supporting at the Acorns stand and engaging with our runners and members of the public
• As a Cheer Squad you will be cheering our runners on as they fly round the course
• Mascot – Alex the Acorn

How much time will it take? 

You can come and volunteer between the hours of 8am and 2pm or join us for the the duration of the event
